FYI Marks 25th Anniversary as Premier IT solutions and staffing provider
Twenty-five years after FYI Systems began offering data processing consulting services; the once-small company is now a premiere provider in one of the country’s largest IT marketplaces.
Parsippany, NJ. (March 26, 2009) - Twenty-five years after FYI Systems began offering data processing consulting services, the once-small company is now a premiere provider of Information Technology Solutions in the NY/NJ Metropolitan area.The company, based in Parsippany, New Jersey, will mark its 25th anniversary year with the publication of a micro-site to celebrate its accomplishments. The site will include a look back at the consultants, clients, and technologies prevalent during its two and a half decade lifetime.
"What has carried us through the past 25 years is our willingness to be flexible and creative as we work to meet our customers' needs," explained Richard Zaziski, CEO of FYI. "We also stayed true to our underlying core values.” Over the years, FYI’s tag line has changed in wording, but has remained consistent in meaning. “A consulting firm run by and for consultants” “Building relationships based on quality, integrity and trust,” and most recently; “Business Performance powered by people, process and technology” all speak to the company’s focus on people and its passion for technology. All three have been key components to FYI’s success.
Technology has also changed. Two decades ago, the company was primarily focused on mainframe technologies like IDMS, ADS/O and Cobol. Soon after, DB2 and CICS were key to its growth. The mid 90’s brought client server and the millennium ushered in the internet and web technologies. While change was constant, FYI never let technology block the path to exceeding client expectations. (These last two sentences need clarification.)
